About the Job
We are looking for an Agile Delivery Lead responsible for planning, estimating, driving, coordinating and communicating product delivery by managing development of large-scale distributed software applications in cloud environments throughout the software development lifecycle. Our Agile Delivery Leads are typically taking over one or several Value Streams, where each Value Stream is a cross-functional team of engineers, product managers, and UX design specialists organised around a set of business KPIs. Within their Value Streams, Agile Delivery Leads drive product initiatives across several engineering teams, and additionally coordinate bigger product initiatives across Value Streams and with other departments in the business.

WHAT YOU DO
You work closely together with Product, Tech and Design to help build and drive the product roadmap.You drive the delivery of major features and consumer value by planning, prioritizing and coordinating the delivery and release of complex cross-team engineering initiatives.Predictability & Capacity is one of your primary focal points, you are adept at understanding how multiple teams’ performance affects delivery and you are continuously using that information to help optimise flow.You identify and take care of bottlenecks and impediments that block teams’ progress, and you can turn around impediments quickly and know how to navigate the organisation to do so.You take ownership and drive initiatives end-to-end.You make sure the feature/ delivery/ goal/ sprint goal is on time and is built to an appropriate level of quality.You negotiate scope and manage trade-offs for delivery and cost/benefit process improvement decisions.You ensure technical debt is being managed.You promote and support agile practises within your team and help the team to continuously deliver value and continuously improve.You are data-driven and can easily provide team progress insights for different stakeholder groups.You know the right metrics and KPIs to use in different scenarios to reflect issues that need resolving, and regularly use these metrics to applaud good collaboration and teamwork.You are an active member of the agile community at Joyn and participate in continuous improvement within this discipline across the company.

WHAT WE'RE ASKING
Extensive experience as Delivery Lead/ Scrum Master / Agile Delivery Lead in large engineering organisations (>10 teams), experience in shipping consumer productsKnowledge about agile project management tools, including practical knowledge of JiraProven background in software and technology, ideally first-hand software engineering experienceReal-world experience (battle scars) with large-scale agile ways of working including knowledge of scaled agile frameworks like SAFe, Nexus, LeSS, DAD, etc.A sense for team dynamics and dysfunctions within teamsDesire to work in a fast-paced environmentUniversity degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalentProficiency in spoken and written English, as it is our company language in a diverse environment (we employ people from ~35 different nations)
